PRODUCTS
The highest HACCP quality norms are applied by our team, who have all the required training to handle food products. All relevant food safety and quality standards such as HACCP, GMP, GHP are implemented.
The seafood we offer in Europe is all caught at sea and frozen immediately aboard our vessels. The prawns and shrimps undergo no other treatment in the meantime, which means you get it delivered exactly as it came out of the ocean. This means no antibiotics and no artificial feeding, which might otherwise find their way into the product. In addition, our factory processed products are treated under exceptional sanitary conditions.

We also keep our knowledge and skills up-to-date with regular workshops and trainings, in order to never miss a beat in the ever-evolving world of fishing and food production. Next to professional development, Banarly ensures the welfare of its employees outside of work, which is why all of our staff get access to health care benefits. We comply fully with Nigerian labour laws and safety regulations and go beyond the required standards where possible.

Whereas we are privileged to fish and produce in such an amazing and challenging country full of opportunities, we are aware of our social responsibilities. Here’s how we are trying to do our bit:

• Our in-house water purification plant allows us to supply free potable water to a local school of 800+ students as well as neighbouring facilities.
• We sponsor the school with nutritious food for events such as sports days but also with electricity and maintenance work.
• We create jobs for over 700 employees on-site, and indirectly for another 3,000 people in Nigeria.
• We donate to the Lagos Foodbank, which distributes it among those most in need.
