AT SEA
All shrimps are sea-frozen within a maximum period of 3hours. When a trawler discharges, samples are taken for testing and product is being checked before send to our cold store. All sampling and quality control are assured through checks performed by the in-house laboratory and independent laboratories.
PROCESSING PLANT
Only the highest quality raw material is used to produce sole products, crab and peeled shrimp. Temperature control and hygiene are the most important keys to success. The constant use of running cold water from the in-house water treatment plant, is essential. Ice flakes are constantly administered during the production process. All staff undergo regular medical checks. Wearing gloves and masks in the factory is a must.
The factory processed products are treated in exceptional sanitary conditions. The highest HACCP quality norms are applied by our professional staff, who undergo regular medical checks and training by our quality team.
Each cold store has three cooling units of which one is sufficient to maintain a temperature of -25°C per cold store.
